The People’s Palace is closed for refurbishment.

This much-loved venue has told the stories of Glaswegians for 125 years. Reimagining the building and its displays means it will tell those stories for many more.

Thanks to the recent funding secured from the National Lottery Heritage Fund, the next stage of this exciting project can begin. This much-loved attraction will reopen, unveiling a reimagined and restored museum and glasshouse.

We are delighted this transformational project will protect this invaluable cultural and heritage asset for generations to come.

The People's Palace is home to a collection of objects, photographs, prints and film which give a unique view into how Glaswegians lived, worked and played in years gone by to the present day. All set against the backdrop of historic Glasgow Green.
