10th Style Mile Carnival to transform the city centre with Christmas Carnival Carousel
On Sunday 24 November, between 1pm and 5pm, a host of fantasy characters, giant artworks, dancers and musicians will transform the city centre, when the 10th Glasgow Style Mile Carnival spreads Christmas cheer for all to see and hear.
Starting at the Royal Concert Hall steps you can see and interact with 22 Christmas-themed creations at 12 locations, bringing the streets to life from Buchanan Galleries, past Princes Square and Argyll Arcade, all the way to St Enoch Centre.
Jolly characters include a larger-than-life Father Christmas and his trusty, red-nosed reindeer Rudolph, some cheeky elves, dancing snowflakes, stilt walkers, and a large Christmas bauble, candle and peacock.
Everyone will be encouraged to pose for a selfie to be in with a chance of claiming a limited-edition Style Mile Christmas tree souvenir snowflake, which can be redeemed by visiting the Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity shop in Buchanan Galleries. And scan the QR codes adorning each character to discover excellent deals on offer around the Style Mile.
