Discovering Degas, opens at The Burrell Collection - Colleague entry

A new exhibition of works by one of the world's most revered artists, Edgar Degas, is now open at The Burrell Collection.

Discovering Degas: Collecting in the time of Sir William Burrell is the first-time all 23 Degas works from Burrell's original collection have been displayed together. Alongside these are 28 further world-class paintings, works on paper and sculptures on loan from 13 of the UK and Europe's finest national and international collections.

Colleagues can visit one of the must-see shows of the summer for £5. To take advantage of this special price simply turn up on the day with your staff badge or pay slip. Tickets are normally £13.50/ under 12 free.

Sir William Burrell and his wife Constance, Lady Burrell were amongst the first Scottish collectors to buy Degas' works and, over 40 years, they bought more than 20 works by the artist, far more than any other UK collector.

Come and see a stunning array of the finest Degas artworks from collections including The Courtauld, The Barber Institute of Fine Arts, Tate, V&A, National Museums Liverpool Walker Art Gallery, The National Gallery London, and the National Galleries of Scotland in the UK and Musée d'Orsay, Paris.
