Our Glasgow Convention Bureau team has been working with The European College of Sport Science (ECSS) to deliver their annual congress.

As part of the event ECSS would like to invite anyone interested in sport and physical activity along to a free public lecture on the Benefits of Staying Active Across our Lifespan, on Monday 1 July from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at The Social Hub, Glasgow city centre.

Brace yourself for an interactive session on how an active lifestyle can be the key for enhancing health, performance and quality of life. A panel of experts will introduce you to sport science and give practical recommendations for everyone. Challenges for cities and communities to support active ageing will also be discussed.
