Supported by Glasgow Life, the 21st Glasgow Film Festival (GFF25) is set to dazzle from 26 February to 9 March 2025.

Scotland's largest film festival boasts 16 World and European premieres, 64 UK premieres, and 11 Scottish premieres hosted in venues across the city.

GFF25 opens with the World premiere of Tornado, a revenge thriller by Scottish director John Maclean, starring Tim Roth and Jack Lowden, shot on location in Scotland. It closes with Martyn Robertson's inspiring documentary Make It to Munich, following Scots teen Ethan Walker's recovery from life-threatening injuries to cycle from Hampden Park to Munich. With many highlights in-between, including a live "In Conversation" with Glasgow-born James McAvoy.

The Glasgow 850 Festival has funded special events including Community and Youth Takeover Days, which reflect the richness of Glasgow's talent and the strength of its community spirit during this milestone year for the city.
