Red Weather Warning for Glasgow – Friday 24 January

The met office has issued a red weather warning covering Glasgow from 1000 – 1700 hrs tomorrow Friday 24 January 2025.
Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of colleagues, volunteers, and customers.
We are invoking our approach for red weather warnings contained in the Severe Weather Guidance for Colleagues. This means that:
- All Glasgow Life venues will be closed to the public on Friday 24 January.
- All employees should, if possible, work from home. Where this is not possible employees will be granted authorised paid leave and should not attend the workplace.
If you have any questions or issues, please discuss these with your Line Manager.
We expect to reopen venues to the public on Saturday 25 January as normal and colleagues should inform their line manager as soon as possible should their journey to work be affected at all in the aftermath of Storm Eowyn.
