Glasgow Club Scotstoun marked a major milestone on Wednesday 9 April, celebrating its 30th birthday in style. The team put on a free family Fun Day that brought the community together to celebrate.

There were bouncy castles, face painting, archery, and garden games. There was a special area for little kids too. The Police came and helped mark bikes to keep them safe.

The atmosphere was full of energy and smiles, and with a brilliant turnout of 824 people through the doors, it’s safe to say the day was a huge success.

Tracy Anderson, Sport & Physical Activity Officer, said:

“We held the free event to celebrate an amazing 30 years of Glasgow Club Scotstoun. The club supports local communities through sports and physical activity. Seeing so many partners come together to offer a wide range of activities was fantastic. We had an incredible turnout, with everyone enjoying themselves.

“Over the years, the facility has continued to grow and evolve. Creating opportunities for clubs, groups, and residents alike. I’m excited to see how it develops over the next 30 years!”

A big thank you to everyone who helped make it happen – here’s to another 30 years of Glasgow Club Scotstoun!
