Stained-glass window celebrating John Maclean at Pollokshaws Library
Pollokshaws Library celebrated the life and legacy of John Maclean, Scottish schoolteacher and revolutionary socialist, with the unveiling of a stained-glass window by artist Kiera McLean (pictured) last Thursday 30 November.
Marking 100 years since his death, colleagues at the library hosted a special event with a talk by the artist as well as songs by invited musicians and singers and poetry readings from authors Henry Bell and Joey Simons.
You can now view the stained-glass window at Pollokshaws Library during normal opening hours.
