Summer fun at Pollok Community Centre
Pollok Community Centre has partnered with the Youth Initiative Group from St. Paul's RC Secondary School to host a vibrant summer camp for local children.
Up to 25 young people aged eight and over enjoyed two weeks of fun-filled activities.
The camp featured a variety of games which encouraged teamwork and sportsmanship. There were also wellbeing sessions to promote a healthy lifestyle and environmental projects.
One of the highlights was the daily litter pick, which helped the young people learn about the importance of keeping the environment clean.
Christine McCann, Community Services Supervisor at Glasgow Life, and her team have received positive feedback and been praised by parents and their children.
This successful partnership between Pollok Community Centre and St. Paul's Youth Initiative has strengthened bonds between the organisations and opened the door for future projects.
