Walking Football group visit Hampden Park

Our Parkinson's Walking Football group enjoyed a visit to Hampden Park last week.

The players, their partners and friends met on a bitterly cold day to take the tour of the stadium and museum before changing in the Home Scotland dressing room and playing a match in the stadium's warm up area. This visit was made possible through Glasgow Life's partnership with Walking Football Scotland, The Scottish Football Museum and Football Memories Scotland.

The Parkinson's group was initially set up by Glasgow Life and has grown over the last few years with support from partners Parkinson's UK and Celtic FC Foundation. The group meet every week for their Walking Football session at Toryglen Regional Football Centre.
