World Mental Health Day 2024

A cartoon mascot of a smiling globe with text World Mental Health Day

Today is World Mental Health Day - a time to come together to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. Talking about our mental health can help us all cope better with life's ups and downs, so why not check in with your friends, family, or colleagues over a cuppa for a chat?

This year's theme is workplace mental health, highlighting the importance of addressing mental health and wellbeing in the workplace, for the benefit of people, organisations, and communities.

Work can have a huge impact on your mental health. It can be positive, giving you a sense of purpose, boosting your self-worth, and providing opportunities to connect with others. But it can also be a source of stress and anxiety and contribute to developing or worsening mental health problems. Many of us spend a lot of our time working, so it is important that our workplaces support our mental health.
