Body Image
Body image refers to how we perceive and feel about our bodies. It encompasses our satisfaction with our physical appearance and how much we value others’ opinions of our bodies.
Body Image
The Mental Health Foundation conducted two surveys, one of adults and one of teenagers, asking questions in relation to body image. Among adults, 34% said they have felt anxious and 35% said they have felt depressed in relation to their body image. The survey of teenagers found 35% “often” or “always” worried about their body image.
