What to expect

Sunday 23rd June, 12 noon until 8pm in Kelvingrove Park 

Live music stages, a children's fun fair, delicious food stalls offering a wide variety of cuisine from across the globe, writing workshops, market vendors and come-and-try sports events including kabaddi and badminton.


Travel information

We encourage you to make use of public transport. Kelvingrove Park has handy transport links to multiple entrances.

  • The nearest subway stations are Kelvinbridge, Hillhead and Kelvinhall, which are all a 10-15 minute walk
  • Exhibition Centre is the closest train station, which is a 16 minute walk.

If you do wish to travel by car, there are parking options nearby:

  • Lilybank Gardens 106 spaces. No height restrictions. 12 minute walk. 
  • Kelvinbridge 150 spaces. No height restrictions.12 minute walk.
  • Bunhouse Street 225 spaces. No height restrictions. Car charging facility. 10 minute walk. 

Weather conditions and water

Please come to the event prepared for the weather conditions. Bring sunscreen or any other weather appropriate essentials. 

There will be water refill stations available near Kelvinway. There will also be water available at the Mela Bar area.


Pets

Well behaved pets on leads are welcome within the event site. Please be advised of the following guidance:

  • Dogs must be kept under control at all times
  • Owners are responsible for cleaning up after dogs
  • Owners may be asked to leave the event if they do not keep their dog under control
  • Dogs should not be left unattended in vehicles

Please be advised there will be loud music, performances and food vendors throughout the site.
