waverley. fuse Americana tinged indie with moments of intensity and intricacy to create a sound that is uniquely theirs. Folk-rooted songwriting and fierce dynamic shifts makes the band's music both expansive and intimate, winning them plaudits from the likes of BBC Radio 6 Music and The Skinny, bringing their music to fans across the UK, from Hackney to the Highlands.

Their debut EP ‘It Makes An Emptiness Of A Crowded Place’, released in 2023 by Blackhall Records, includes the fiddle inspired guitar riffs of ‘Rest And Be Thankful’, and the euphoric crescendos of ‘Lowry Scene’, with comparisons being made to Wilco and Frightened Rabbit.

“Squarely in the ranks of fine Scottish guitar bands at their unbeatable best...this is the real thing"* - Tom Robinson, BBC Radio 6 Music
