Jewish Community in Glasgow and Scotland

A wonderful history of the Glasgow Jewish community are available at Glasgow Libraries. Jewish Glasgow: An Illustrated History tells the story of Glasgow's Jewish population over a period of almost two hundred years. Many of the records are available in the Scottish Jewish Archives in Glasgow.
You will find members from the Jewish community in the City's own archives. The City Archives also hold records of Boer War veterans, including Jewish, who were granted the Freedom of the City.
