Scottish Soldiers' Wills Now Available

​31,000 soldiers' wills are now available as part of the ScotlandsPeople network​, which you can access through the Registrars in the Mitchell, and the ScotlandsPeople website.

26,000 of these wills were made by ordinary soldiers who died in the First World War. Almost 5000 relate to soldiers serving in the Second World War, while several hundred date from the Boer War, Korean War, and other conflicts between 1857 and 1966.
