Home to the city’s contemporary art collection, including works by Turner Prize winners and emerging artists.
GoMA is located in the centre of Glasgow. It houses four galleries, a library and gallery shop selling a range inspired by the Collection.
GoMA is a world class art museum and a place for people to gather, to learn and to share ideas. We display, borrow and collect artworks from around the world.
The museum's collection includes a wide range of contemporary artworks, including paintings, sculptures, installations, videos, and digital art. The collection focuses on artists from Scotland, the UK, and the international art scene. GoMA regularly rotates its exhibitions, featuring both established and emerging artists, which ensures that visitors can experience a diverse range of contemporary art forms and perspectives.
Apart from its permanent and temporary exhibitions, GoMA also hosts educational programs, workshops, talks, and events to engage the local community and foster dialogue about contemporary art. The museum aims to create an inclusive and accessible space where people from all backgrounds can connect with and explore contemporary art.
