Urban skate spot at Riverside Museum

Have you seen the new skate spot at Riverside Museum?
Built into the very fabric of the iconic building’s footprint, is an urban sports skate spot with five built in obstacles to slide and grind along and is the only one of its kind in Glasgow.
This world class space is for everyone and fuses urban sport, visual art, design and active travel, and is located at the side of Riverside Museum beside the opening of new Govan – Partick Bridge.
What’s at the skate spot?
- Hip with inset granite block
- Hipped spine with red granite curb
- Curved granite bench
- Red granite slappy curb
- Multi-level manual pad with granite block edges

It's not just about the boarding. This space is open for all wheeled urban sports and you can be sure to see BMX-ing, quad skating, roller blading and more on the obstacles here by the River Clyde.
