Active Glasgow Volunteer Fund - Concession Information

The Active Glasgow Volunteer Fund supports volunteers in community organisations to attend training courses that allow them to assist, lead or officiate activities.

Applicants can apply for a maximum of £250 towards any eligible course. Volunteers receive the award retrospectively after they have evidenced attendance or on completion of the qualification.

Glasgow Life - Sport realise that, in some instances, this may provide a barrier to attending a coaching qualification.

If you meet one of the criteria below then you can apply for your Active Glasgow Volunteer Fund award to be paid prior to your attendance on the course.

Please get in touch if your income is supplemented by any of the following benefits:

• Universal Credit
• Pension Credit
• Carer's Allowance
• Education Maintenance Allowance
• Child Tax Credit
OR if you have Asylum Seeking Status.
