Are you facing health issues, tough situations or struggling to cope? Our Lifestyle Management Course is all about helping you take control, cope better, and regain confidence in improving your lifestyle. Whether you're dealing with health problems or just need some support, this course is here for you.

The course has 4 main parts:

You'll review your week with others at the beginning of each session to discuss what’s been better about your week or, if it’s been tough, how you coped or got through it. We believe that focusing on positive outcomes is the quickest way to get you to where you want to be by noticing what’s working already then doing more of that.

Each week, we focus on different areas of health and well-being such as sleep, pacing, energy management, and communication skills. Our facilitators guide you and the group to share your experiences, incorporate course content, and encourage you to try new approaches.

There is a physical activity part to the course where we support you to build up activity in a way that’s right for you, starting with simple stretches and building up to a simple circuit in a safe way. No one is made to do anything they don’t feel comfortable with.

Different relaxation and meditation techniques are explored and experienced to find ones that work for you. This practical, therapeutic part of the course provides you with the skills to adopt and implement these techniques in your daily life.

What's Involved?

You will be invited to attend one session per week for 10 weeks, each session lasting up to 3 hours including plenty of comfort breaks. Up to 3 facilitators will work with your group, help you understand the content and help support you on a weekly basis.

You'll connect with others facing similar challenges. Sharing experiences can be incredibly helpful. To get the most out of the course, you are encouraged to attend every session, stay open-minded, and give the activities a try!

Time:                  Tuesdays 12.30 – 3.30pm

Resources:         Please wear comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for doing gentle activity. Tea, coffee and water will be provided throughout the sessions.
