Who can attend these events?
The events below are for individuals who are currently volunteering their time with Glasgow Life services and programmes.
How do I book my space?
To book any of our special social and celebration events, please contact our team via email volunteering@glasgowlife.org.uk or FREEPHONE 08085001315 and provide:
- Your name
- Name of your Glasgow Life volunteer programme
- Preferred email address
- If you have any dietary requirements e.g. preferred milk for tea and coffee
The volunteering team will confirm your booking and send you more information including travel information. If we reach capacity for an event, volunteers’ names will be added to a waiting list.
Dvořák’s New World Symphony (RSNO) Rehearsal
Glasgow Life volunteers are invited attend Royal Scotland's National Orchestra - Dvořák’s New World Symphony, open rehearsal.
Volunteers will receive a voucher to claim a tea/coffee and a sweet treat from the café before the performance starts at 1.30pm

The Mitchell Library Tour
The Mitchell Library is one of Europe's largest public libraries with more than a million items. Glasgow Life Volunteers are invited for a behind the scenes tour of the iconic library.
Light refreshments will also be provided.

Building Tour and Clip & Climb @ Kelvin Hall
Glasgow Life volunteers are invited to tour of our sports centre & museum located at Kelvin Hall.
After the tour, volunteers can take part in our Clip & Climb, offering climbing challenges for all abilities and the truly brave can take on the Leap of Faith!
Drinks will be served in the Clip & Climb area.

Guided Walk & Light Refreshments
May is National Walking Month!
Glasgow Life Volunteers are invited to join a relaxed one hour stroll around the Botanic Gardens and along the River Kelvin Walkway led by Good Move Walking team.
Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather. Light refreshments will be served at Kibble Palace after the walk.
