Muriel Cupples aged 74 has been a volunteer Health Walk Leader at the Castlemilk walk for 4 years, and a walker for 12 years. She first joined as a walker as she wanted fresh air, exercise and to meet new people. She is a great asset to the walk with her bubbly personality, friendly manner and her extensive knowledge of the area, she loves identifying new routes and keeping the walks interesting for all involved. As a local and someone who is involved in many of the local activities, Muriel is able to keep the group informed of the wider community activities and encourages them to join.

Feeling of well-being, enjoyment and not just wasting your life doing nothing. Being introduced to other activities.
