Baillieston Community Hub
Baillieston Community Hub at James Lindsay Memorial Park
A new community hub including a library, gym, dance studios and community spaces.
Community Engagement sessions took place in December 2023, January 2024 and September 2024, inviting local people to view the design for the Hub and providing an opportunity to offer comments on the design process and understand the timeline for project.

What the hub will offer

Glasgow Club
Glasgow Club members will be able to utilise a brand-new, top-of-the-line gym, holistic and spin studios and a group fitness space.

Library
The library will provide a large adult, children and youth browsing and lending area and increased access to IT and other collocated services.

Community spaces
The Hub will include multifunctional room which can be subdivided for efficient use by all in the community.

Ballieston Community Hub Library
The ground floor of the Hub will contain a large library space. The relocation of the library from its existing site on Main Street into the hub allows for a larger adult, children and youth browsing and lending Library areas, increased access to information technology and other collocated services.

Baillieston Community Hub Spaces
The Hub will include a 330sqm multifunctional room which can be subdivided for efficient use by all in the community.
