Join Curator of British Art Jo Meacock to discuss this beautiful 15th-century 'Flight into Egypt' painting in the light of a 19^th-century French Realist picture of Refugees.

These very different scenes of journeying, exile and struggle were the inspiration for creative writing sessions attended by  local asylum seekers and refugees that helped inform our display content. Come along and hear more.
