GO LIVE! at the Road Race, City of Glasgow College, Cathedral Street - 5th August

Come and watch the road race as the world class cyclists whizz through the city on their laps of the city and be entertained by some of the best street performances in Scotland. Featuring  Mischief la Bas, The Refs, Future Follies, Three60 dance, and other surprising and exciting performances!

City of Glasgow College (Cathedral Street)

The Scone of Destiny (11am and 3.30pm)

Baked in 1739, the huge mystical, magical Scone of Destiny is wheeled around Scotland by the Ladies of the Master Bakers. Performing ritual words in old Scots and a couple of dances, chatting all things Scone and swapping recipes with the public. A performance that doesn't shy away from the all important questions of the day: Fruit or Plain, Jam then Cream or Cream then Jam, Scone or Scone?

The Refs (11.15am and 3.45pm)

THE REFS, Tank and Bogie, are looking for champions in this family-friendly walkabout piece that turns everything into one big game. Equipped with cones and whistles, these referees lead easy-to-follow warm-ups, set up playful obstacle courses, and have you cross the finish line in style.

Mockestra (12pm and 3.30pm)

A bunch of friends who first met as members of a community music project in Glasgow. They meet in each others homes to play their favourite songs together, and occasionally like to play for other people too.

A Mockestra gig will feature an unpredictable line-up, and a fun setlist of covers including songs you know and love, as well as some lesser known gems for you to discover.
