Belfast-based Northern Irish folk singer-songwriter Joshua Burnside’s musical style has been likened to that of Elliott Smith, Nick Drake, and Tom Waits (all noted as personal inspirations).

But make no mistake. Burnside has a sound all of his own, combining elements of Irish folk, Scottish folk rock, Americana, world music, and electronica to great acclaim. The three singles from his award-winning 2017 album Ephrata received plays and praise from BBC 6 Music presenters Lauren Laverne, Guy Garvey, Steve Lamacq, and Tom Ravenscroft.

More recently, Burnside has showcased his nostalgic lyrics and hypnotic vocals with the release of double A-Side single, Marching Round The Ladies / The Good Life.

Lemoncello, featuring Laura Quirke and Claire Kinsella, blends intimate folk with indie pop and jazz, driven by their unique harmonies and instrumentation. They've performed alongside artists like Lisa O'Neill and Glen Hansard and have earned recognition at the RTE Radio 1 Folk Awards
