Merchant City Festival is a fun-filled 3 day event held within the Merchant City area of Glasgow, offering something free for everyone to enjoy.

Food vendors, farmers markets and craft stalls lining the streets of Merchant City whilst you enjoy magnificent performances from Surge Festival!

🔇 Quiet Space with Impact Arts at The Boardwalk: A quiet, accessible space sheltered from the noise of the festival for those seeking time and tranquillity or neurodivergent people, to undertake self-directed activities, to pray or have space and calmness.

🔥 See Big Angie: Firestarter in The Social Hub at 8pm. Blazing a trail of disruption through Glesga’s East End and beyond, Big Angie’s big mouth starts a fire all around the world! Get your tickets here.

🎶 There's a music programme each night of the festival, join in with a Ceilidh from 5pm and then a celebration of Pride from 7pm until 10pm!
