Mooring by the Autumn River at Night
Qin Recital by Li Xuecui
The seven-string qin, known as the ancient zither, is China's quintessential classical instrument. A serene, moonlit night has been considered an appropriate time for a performance. Li Xuecui, a highly acclaimed musician from Nanjing, China, will be making her Glasgow debut at City Halls.
The recital is supported by Confucius Institute, University of Glasgow and is part of The Burrell at Kelvingrove: Collecting Chinese Treasures.
