The novel tells the story of Simrat, a teenage girl of South Asian Sikh heritage living in Glasgow in the 1990s. It explores her experiences and it shares her personal and spiritual journey, overcoming many obstacles, and is an inspiring story of hope, bravery and determination.
Soma will be talking about her inspirations for the novel and reading extracts from it, with a Q&A session to follow.
