Join Tawona Sithole for this interactive creative writing workshop to help participants prepare to submit work for this year's Kavya Prize.
Tawona Sithole has research and teaching roles in the school of education and medical school, at the University of Glasgow. Other educational roles are with Glasgow School of Art, University of the West of Scotland, University of Stirling and Newcastle University, and Scottish book Trust.
Tawona Sithole is co-founder of Seeds of Thought, a non-funded arts group. and writes and performs with other writers, artists and musicians.
Aye Write and Kavya Prize are pleased to provide support to any budding writer of colour to access these workshops at no cost.

Parking
Please note that there is on-street surrounding The Mitchell Library, from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday this is metered. As this is also a local residential area, please use these spaces considerately. Alternatively, there is an a NCP Car Park on India Street next to Charing Cross Train Station which is a 2 minute walk away.
Photography and video recording
On occasion, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.
