Warm up your vocal cords for an afternoon celebrating the work of Adam McNaughtan.
Known for his sharp wit and insightful lyrics, Adam gifted us classics like The Jeely Piece Song, The Glasgow That I Used to Know, and Yellow on the Broom, along with humorous song adaptations of Hamlet and Romeo & Juliet.
Host Siobhan Miller leads a stellar line-up, including Scott Gardiner, Brian Miller, and special guests, bringing Adam’s legacy and songs to life.
A master storyteller and cultural historian, Adam’s work captured the essence of Scottish life. A schoolteacher by trade and a passionate scholar of Scottish folk traditions, he played a vital role in preserving children’s songs, broadside ballads, and music hall numbers. His deep love for Scottish history and culture is woven through every song.
Join us for a sing-song, rediscover cherished classics, and unearth hidden gems from one of Scotland’s most beloved songwriters and rhymers.
