Glasgow Code Learning Summer School

At Glasgow Code Learning we offer free and accredited digital skills courses. 

Our free Summer School courses are designed for people with no skills or experience in digital. They are a taster before committing to our longer courses. After finishing one of the short courses, you can progress on the pathway to a Developer course.

We run two introductory courses over the summer:

Intro to Python

22nd-26th July 2024

Students will attend classes Monday – Friday from 9am to 4pm at Glasgow Clyde College (Anniesland Campus). 

This 5-day course will introduce students to Python – a viable, accessible multipurpose programming language used by those from all levels in ICT, such as corporate software engineers and casual coders.

Intro to Cyber

16th-17th July 2024

Students will attend classes Tuesday from 9am to 4pm and Wednesday 17th July from 1pm to 4pm online on Microsoft Teams.

This two-day course will introduce students to the fundamentals of cyber security and the basics on cyber-attack prevention.
