With handmade & locally crafted items including homeware, candles, jewellery, sweet treats, textiles, art, clothing, accessories, and not forgetting the perfect festive decorations for your tree!
With over sixty stalls you’ll be spoilt for choice – there’s nowhere better to pick up that special Christmas present.
The Riverside Christmas Market is on:
Saturday 30 November 10-5
Sunday 1 December 11-5
We've also got over 20 vintage vehicles coming along too, including buses and fire engines! See them on Events Square outside the museum - Saturday 10-4pm and Sunday 11-4pm.

By Train:
Partick interchange is 0.6 miles from the museum. Take the exit facing Morrisons supermarket and follow the signposted footpath.
By Subway:
Govan subway station, located within Govan Interchange, is 0.3 miles from the museum. Take the Govan Road exit, cross at the lights and then cross the Govan / Partick Bridge. The Riverside Museum is on the north bank of the River Clyde. This is a 5 minute walk from the Govan subway sation to the museum, if you use the Govan - Partick Bridge.
Partick subway station, located within Partick Interchange, is 0.6 miles from the museum. Take the exit facing Morrisons supermarket and follow the signposted footpath.

By Bike:
The Riverside Museum is on Sustrans Route 7. Cycle parking is available outside the museum. The Next Bike cycle hire scheme has a pick up / drop off station outside the museum.
The Govan - Partick Bridge is another access point to the museum and it is a 5 minute walk from the Govan transport hub, also known as the Govan interchange, to Riverside Museum
The nearest Train station (PTK), Subway station and Bus station can all be found at the Partick transport hub, also known as the Partick Interchange, around 0.6 miles from the museum. There are signposted walking routes from there to the museum.
The lines for the train station run through the Low-Level platforms, at Glasgow Central (GLC) and Glasgow Queen Street (GLQ).
The closest Subway station to Glasgow Central is St Enoch’s.
The closest to Glasgow Queen Street is Buchanan Street.
Buses:
The 100 service operates from George Square South, stop 609973, every 45 minutes starting approximately 10.20am daily. The service is operated by Community Transport Glasgow. View the timetable here

Please note: If you are coming into Glasgow by train and planning to use a PlusBus ticket, the sightseeing buses are not covered.
The Next Bike bicycle hire scheme is also in operation around Glasgow, with locations to pick up and drop off around the city, including at the Riverside.
If you use a Taxi or private-hire car, there is a drop off point beside the car park. Disabled visitors can be dropped off at the front door, access is via the slip road barrier.
