Parkhead Hub

The opening of the new Parkhead Hub in Duke Street, will bring together a range of community health and social care services and incorporate the relocated Parkhead Library.

Unfortunately, the opening of the new facility has been delayed slightly due to a technical commissioning issue beyond our control.

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) and Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) are working to confirm a new date to commence the phased transfer of services to the new building as soon as possible.

Community services and activities provided at Parkhead Library, which had been scheduled to transfer to the new Hub on 20 January, will not now close on 18 January, as previously indicated, and will continue to be provided at the current site (at 64 Tollcross Road, G31 4XA) for the time being before their transfer shortly to the new facility.

Please note that printing services are not currently available and we apologise for the inconvenience. Your nearest alternative libraries with printing services available are Shettleston, Bridgeton and Dennistoun.

Keep checking back for confirmation of the dates for the closure of the present building and opening of the new library as soon as these are finalised.
