Parkhead Library at Parkhead Hub
The newly located library continues to provide adult and children's library services, also hosting partners Clyde Gateway, Macmillan, Jobs and Business Glasgow, and Citizens Advice amongst others.
Providing a ‘one-stop’ shop for an extensive range of health and social care services for adults and children, the thriving new hub includes welcoming community spaces for local residents and groups to use, a café, and the relocated Parkhead Library. Located on the ground floor of the building, and creating a focal point for visitors, the bright and modern library offers improved accessibility.
Parkhead Library offers a wide range of services and activities in relaxing, comfortable and inspiring surroundings. Our friendly staff will always be on hand to help you get the most out of your visits. With thousands of books and a programme of weekly classes and events, Parkhead Library has something for everyone.

Parkhead Library, one of Glasgow’s Carnegie Libraries, used to have a separate entrance for children. Today, the library is home to a large, bright children’s area, and everybody can enter the library through the same door!
