"I visit weekly with my baby, attending Bookbug sessions, breastfeeding support group and chatting with staff. These visits have helped me feel less isolated during my maternity leave." (Anonymous)

Bookbug is a free, fun and friendly session for babies, toddlers and children under 5 years of age accompanied by their parents and/or carers.
Each session is relaxed, lasts 30-45 minutes and includes songs, stories and rhymes.
Bookbug sessions are a great way for children to interact with others and to improve their social and language skills. They are a chance for you to spend quality time with your child and meet other parents/carers.

Free, drop in and no ticket required although spaces are limited and on a first come first served basis.

Currently, we are experiencing high demand for this programme, and whilst advance booking is not required, we do have an upper limit of families in our venues and attendance continues to be on a first-come basis.  Managing the numbers in this way ensures that Bookbug continues to be an effective and enjoyable experience for all.
