Join us in Pollokshields Library
for a family day of words and activities!
Gathering will be held for the Pollokshields community.
Inspired by Kathleen Jamie’s upcoming collection Cairn, the event
takes the idea of a common viewpoint shared by strangers and explores it
through our relationship to land, community and language.
Facilitated by writers and
community facilitators Katherine Cory and Kirsty Strang-Roy, this event is free
and open to all members of the community.
10am-2pm Come along for family
activities including poetry and crafts (drop in, no booking required)
3pm-4pm Kathleen Jamie, Scotland’s Makar, Reading and Q&A – free but ticketed. To book please visit:
