Lake Street Dive bring their genre-defying sound to Celtic Connections at the Old Fruitmarket, blending soul, folk, jazz, and classic pop into an electrifying live experience. Known for their deep connection with audiences, the five-piece—vocalist Rachael Price, bassist Bridget Kearney, drummer Mike Calabrese, keyboardist Akie Bermiss, and guitarist James Cornelison—are touring in support of their new album Good Together

Created through a spirit of "joyful rebellion," the album reflects on the forces pulling society apart, while inspiring listeners to find strength in joy and togetherness. Their unique songwriting process, which included rolling a 20-sided die to shape songs, led to fresh musical directions, expanding their already dynamic sound. Highlights like the feel-good anthem "Dance with a Stranger" and the poignant "Walking Uphill" demonstrate Lake Street Dive's ability to blend emotional depth with infectious grooves, making this show an unmissable celebration of music and connection.

Supported by Alisa Amador, whose debut album Multitudes blends English and Spanish, exploring themes of loss, hope, and self-discovery. Praised for her powerful voice, Amador first gained recognition with NPR’s 2022 Tiny Desk Contest. Featuring lush arrangements and collaborations, the album is a captivating reflection of her diverse heritage.
