The future of traditional Scottish music takes to the stage as part of this exciting Celtic Connections showcase.
The BMus (Hons) Traditional Music course at the prestigious Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) is one of the few Bachelor of Music degrees dedicated to traditional and folk music. Aspiring performers explore Scotland’s unique and dynamic musical traditions while honing their practical skills.
Meanwhile, the Plockton Music School is a national centre of excellence for traditional music, where young Scottish traditional musicians can develop their talent to its full potential.
Here, students of both institutions share their progress with a coveted festival performance. This is your chance to see the trad and folk stars of tomorrow, today.
