Parkhead Library has relocated to The Parkhead Hub, a state-of-the-art community health and social care services facility located on Duke Street. For our first author event in this exciting new community space, we welcome Glaswegian crime fiction author Caro Ramsay to Parkhead Library on Thursday the 27th of February to discuss her new novel Out of the Dark.

Caro, is the author of more than 15 crime novels including the Glasgow Set police procedural novel series featuring DI Anderson and DS Costello. Her latest novel Out of the Dark, the third in the DCI Christine Caplan series, features a thrilling hunt for a missing girl and a terrifying game of cat and mouse as DCI Caplan investigates a cold case to fulfil the last wish of a dying cop.

Parkhead Library, one of Glasgow’s Carnegie Libraries, used to have a separate entrance for children. Today, the library is home to a large, bright children’s area, and everybody can enter the library through the same door!
