Born in Fife, Scotland, Clarissa Connelly relocated to Copenhagen as a child, where the rich cultural landscape has been a constant source of inspiration. A musician deeply connected to the sacred sites, mythology, and music of Nordic and Celtic traditions, she gained international recognition with her 2018 EP Tech Duinn, which explored Celtic spiritual gateways. Her 2021 album, The Voyager, was born from her physical journeys across ancient Scandinavian landscapes, capturing melodies inspired by pre-Christian sacred sites. Acclaimed for its innovation, it won the prestigious Nordic Music Prize and featured an accompanying app, Vandringen, allowing listeners to musically interact with these spaces.

Connelly’s latest album, World of Work, marks her debut on Warp Records and shifts focus inward. Drawing from visionary literature, dreams, and meditative walks, it invites listeners on a metaphysical journey through the landscapes of the soul, balancing quiet introspection with moments of ecstatic transcendence.
