Glasgow libraries in conjunction with Glasgow 2024 - A Worldcon for Our Futures - are delighted to welcome you to an evening of Scottish writing across Science fiction and fantasy as we celebrate the launch of Nova Scotia Vol 2. This amazing selection of short stories showcases the depth and breadth of Scotland's dazzling science fiction and fantasy landscape from its haunted islands to its transformed cities and everything in between.
Join Dr.
Meg MacDonald, Glasgow 2024, to discuss the volume with its publisher, Francesca
T Barbini of Luna Press, and a selection of the phenomenal authors who
contributed to this brilliant collection including Neil Williamson, Ken
MacLeod, E.M. Faulds, Ali Maloney and Rhiannon A Grist.

This accessible toilet is approximately 26m (28yd 1ft) from the main entrance. This accessible toilet is located to the rear right as you enter.

Guide and assistance dogs are welcome and a bowl of water can be provided.

Parking
Please note that there is on-street surrounding The Mitchell Library, from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday this is metered. As this is also a local residential area, please use these spaces considerately. Alternatively, there is an a NCP Car Park on India Street next to Charing Cross Train Station which is a 2 minute walk away.
Photography and video recording
On occasion, Glasgow Life will be on the premises to film and take photos.
