More about the tour

Our weekly building tour is a great opportunity to learn more about the history of Kelvin Hall and see how it is being used today.

They include a walk through the avenue at Kelvin Hall where you can see our displays and learn more about the heritage and sport offers within the building today. Our guides will also explain the history of Kelvin Hall, including the circus, sports and more. The tour also includes a short visit to the Glasgow Life Museums stores, where our guides will show you some of their favourite objects from the collections.

These volunteer led tours are free and last around 45 minutes. They currently run at 10.30am every Saturday. Tours are free, but please book via eventbrite.

Please note that tours meet at reception. Bags and jackets cannot be taken into the stores but secure storage is provided.
